On 20 August 2007, Teracom AB has informed ETSI that the patent application number EP1334579 which had been declared to be essential to ETSI EN 301 192 has been refused by the EPO, and that it is, therefore, no longer essential to this standard.
In its initial declaration of 7 January 2004 Teracom AB has declared to ETSI that they are prepared to grant irrevocable licences under the IPRs on terms and conditions which are in accordance with Clause 6.1 of the ETSI IPR Policy, in respect of the STANDARD, to the extent that the IPRs remain ESSENTIAL.
