Royal KPN N.V. herewith notifies ETSI that it is the (co)proprietor of the International patent application WO98/49819 and corresponding patents, both pending and granted, and that it informs ETSI that it believes that these IPR's maybe essential to the standard ETS 300 287, corresponding to ITU Q.730.
According to an agreement between KPN, Telia and Ericsson, each of the parties is entitled to make licenses available for standardisation puroposes in ITU and corresponding standards in ETSI.
Royal KPN N.V. and/or its affiliates hereby declare that they are prepared to grant irrevocable licenses under the IPR's on terms and conditions which are in accordance with Clause 6.1 of the ETSI IPR Policy, in respect of the indicated standard, to the extent that the IPR remains essential.
